Coach Maureen Cunningham has announced a tryout for Wednesday, April 24th!
Location:
Southern Wake Campus
Building N, Lobby (in front of the concession stand)
Time:
5:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Candidates must have a doctor fill out and return the linked sports physical form in order to participate.
Prior cheer experience is required, and students must have applied to Wake Tech and plan to register for at least 6 credit hours.
Participants should dress in workout clothes and sneakers or cheer shoes and bring water. Cheerleaders who are already on the roster for 2019-2020 are required to attend.
For the tryout:
Learn 1 chant and 1 cheer of choice.
You must do a toe touch, jump of choice, and combination.You will be doing some group stunt-work, so prior stunting experience, as well as a physical, is required.
Tumbling is a bonus; however, it is not required.
