Wake Tech Athletic Activities Suspended Through April 5

NEW (March 14) - PLEASE visit www.WakeTech.edu for most up to date information on college operations or follow @WakeTechCC on social media.

Due to the seriousness of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) global pandemic, Wake Tech is transitioning all on-campus courses to an online format and suspending on-campus activities from March 15 to April 5. The transition period covers Spring Break (next week) and the two weeks following the break.

Therefore, all Wake Tech athletic games, practices, and team activities are also suspended during this time.

The Wake Tech Women's Basketball team was scheduled to play in the NJCAA Division II Women's Basketball Championship on March 17-20 in Port Huron, Mich.  That tournament has been postponed until late April.

The College will remain open with limited services during this time.

UPDATE (March 14): College campuses are now closed until further notice.

No cases of coronavirus have been identified on Wake Tech campuses. The college's Coronavirus Task Force will reassess the situation and review further measures as developments warrant.
