Wake Tech Athletics will be hosting a virtual Student-Athlete Awards Presentation on Thursday, May 21, at 7pm. The event will be streamed via Facebook Live on the Wake Tech Sports Facebook page.
The Student-Athlete Awards Presentation will feature Wake Tech head athletic coaches, college leadership, and other special guests.
Coaches will be announcing their Scholar Athlete Award, Coaches Award, and MVP Award.
In addition, the athletic program will be announcing the inaugural Golden Eagle Award to a Wake Tech student-athlete that best exemplifies athletic and academic excellence. The Golden Eagle Award will be presented by Chris Lea of WRAL.
"While we would rather be meeting in person to celebrate the achievement of our athletic program," said athletic director Brian Anweiler. "However, this will provide an opportunity to bring some closure to the athletics season and end things on a positive note."
