Wake Tech Athletics Student-Athlete Awards Presentation on Thursday, May 21, via Facebook Live on the Wake Tech Sports Facebook page (SEE VIDEO BELOW).
The presentation featured Wake Tech head athletic coaches, college leadership, and other special guests.
Coaches announced their Scholar Athlete Award, Coaches Award, and MVP Award.
In addition, the athletic program announced the inaugural Golden Eagle Award to a Wake Tech student-athlete that best exemplifies athletic and academic excellence. The Golden Eagle Award was presented by Chris Lea of WRAL.
"While we would rather be meeting in person to celebrate the achievement of our athletic program," said athletic director Brian Anweiler. "However, this will provide an opportunity to bring some closure to the athletics season and end things on a positive note."
