Wake Tech Baseball and Softball were named NJCAA Academic Teams of the Year for maintaining a team GPA above a 3.0 across the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters. Both teams finished the year with a 3.13 GPA.
"We strive to build a winning culture at Wake Tech, and that includes winning in the classroom," Athletic Director Robin Pate said. "This is a great accomplishment, and I'm proud of our student-athletes. These teams exemplify working consistently from the Fall through the Spring for academic excellence. I am also incredibly grateful for the faculty and staff at Wake Tech that prove to be great resources for our students. That includes coaches, advisers, and the staff at the Tutoring and Learning Center (TLC)."
The NJCAA also announced their All Academic teams recently, with 17 Wake Tech student-athletes receiving those honors.
