It may have taken a little longer than coach Eric Sibrizzi would like, but once the bats came to life in the fifth inning, Wake Tech didn't hold back.

The Eagles scored one run in the bottom of the first inning, then waited until the bottom of the fifth to make up for lost chances.  Wake Tech scored five runs in the fifth, added seven in the sixth inning, and two in the seventh to close out Pro 5 Academy by a final score of 16-8.

Vance Deese was 2 for 5 with 6 RBI's, DJ Bishop went 2 for 5 with 5 RBI's, and Martin Muzik was 2 for 3 with 2 runs and 2 RBI's.

On the mound, Wake Tech pitching combined to allow 5 hits and 8 runs, but struck out 14 total batters.  Corey Dove gets the win for the Eagles, but Michael Tyndall recorded 5 strike outs on his own.
