BSB: Martin Muzik All-American for Second Consecutive Season

Head coach Eric Sibrizzi described sophomore Martin Muzik as the "heart and soul" of the 2018 Wake Tech baseball team prior to naming him Athletic Director award winner at the season-ending banquet in May.

Having collected All-American honors in his first year on the team, his second season as an Eagle was about continuing to develop his leadership skills while adding to his already full resume.

As selected by the NJCAA Division II Baseball Committee, Martin was named Second Team All-American for the second consecutive season!

Martin was able to improve in every measurable category from his freshman to sophomore season.  In 2018 Martin had a .407 batting average, 12 home runs, 56 RBI's, .497 on-base percentage while obtaining a .793 slugging percentage.

In 2017, Martin was selected an NJCAA Second Team All-American with an outstanding first season for the Eagles: .406 batting average, 10 home runs, and 47 RBI's. His numbers in conference play were .456 batting average, .514 on-base percentage, and .867 slugging percentage.
