HOLLY SPRINGS, NC – Camden Munise pitched a one-hit shutout Sunday afternoon leading to a 10-0 five inning victory over Cleveland Community College Sunday afternoon at Ting Stadium in Holly Springs.
While Munise (2-1) took care of business on the mound, the Wake Tech offense scattered runs in four of five innings.
Cole Cunningham went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a triple. Van Gupton, Jr. went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI with a double. Christian Schmidt went 2-for-3 with a triple. Matt Long and Johny McDonald also connected on doubles.
Davis Turner had the one hit for the Yetis.
Munise struck out five to lead the Eagles to their fourth consecutive victory.
Wake Tech returns to action on Saturday at 1pm for a doubleheader against Guilford Tech.
