The Eagles let one slip away on Saturday, November 4th when they hosted Cape Fear Community College.  Wake Tech once again raced out to a halftime lead only to watch it evaporate in the second half.  Unlike Johnston Community College, this time Cape Fear pulled ahead and never looked back.

Freshman Eddie Volkerts came off the bench to score a season-high 26 points, Koraan Clemonts added 15 points, and D'Andre Anderson collected a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds.

Wake Tech will have a few days to refocus their efforts before facing Central Carolina Community College in Pinehurst, NC on Friday, November 10th
