The Lancers held their own through the first half, but Wake Tech used a 61 point outburst in the second half to pull away from Lenoir Community College by a final score of 106-86 on Wednesday, November 29th.
Wake Tech was led in scoring by sophomore forward Nick Johnson who collected 23 points. Four other Eagles scored in double figures: Koraan Clemonts 20 points, Christian Anumihe 16 points, Eddie Volkerts 16 points, and Jordan Sheppard added 14 points in the win.
The next home game for the team will be on Saturday, December 2nd at 4:00pm as Wake Tech welcomes Vance-Granville Community College. The Eagles look to sweep the season series with the Vanguards after a 94-79 win over VGCC on November 17th.
All home games are played at the Southern Wake Campus (Main), Building N, gym. Games are FREE to all students, faculty, and staff- just present your valid Wake Tech ID for entry. Tickets for the general public are $5.00 at entry.
