Wake Tech and Catawba Valley are two teams looking to gain some traction as the season turns the corner and heads down the home stretch. Both squads have mirrored each other over the last four weeks.
The Eagles were riding high prior to facing CVCC for the first time this season on December 19, 2017. A Red Hawks victory by a final score of 89-84 was the beginning of a downward slide for Wake Tech. Since their first meeting, the Eagles are 1-5 with their only win coming against nationally ranked Richard Bland.
For the Red Hawks, they've gone 2-4 since their win over Wake Tech.
Both teams are looking for momentum and the return trip to the Southern Wake Campus for CVCC couldn't have come at a better time. Wake Tech is playing well at home this season- the Eagles are currently 5-1 on their home court.
