Men's basketball is heading to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), DII National Tournament from March 19-23 in Danville, Illinois. Wake Tech (20-11) is the 8thseed and will play 9th seed Niagara County (26-8) in the fifth game of the opening round on Tuesday, March 19 at 7:30 pm. All games will be broadcast live at njcaatv.com.
Wake Tech defeated Catawba Valley, the Region X regular season champion Pitt Community College, and Guilford Tech to claim the Region X, District XIV Tournament title. It's the second time the Eagles have advanced to the DII National Tournament- Wake Tech advanced to the "final four" and finished fourth in the country in 2014.
