Coach Adam Wainwright announced today the Eagles will be departing for the NJCAA, DII National Tournament at 8:00 am on Sunday, March 17.
Coaches and players will leave from the Southern Wake Campus, Building N, Gym bound for Danville, Illinois. If you're up early, come by and wish the team good luck before they head out.
It will take the team nearly 12 hours to get to Eastern Illinois while logging more than 700 miles.
Wake Tech will have a day and a half before their first game of the NJCAA, DII National Tournament against Niagara County.
They'll tip off on Tuesday, March 19 at 7:30 pm.
