Justus Baldwin named NJCAA All American

The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) announced that Wake Technical Community College sophomore Justus Baldwin has been named a 2019-20 Division II Men's Basketball Third Team All-America.

Baldwin, from Henderson, NC (Southern Vance), averaged 21.1 points, 4.7 rebounds per game, and 2.6 assists in 30 games for the Eagles. He was also third in the region in scoring. He transferred to Wake Tech from Vance Granville Community College. He was named First Team All NJCAA Region 10 in March.

"Justus is a tireless competitor and has worked extremely hard since he arrived on campus," said head coach Adam Wainwright. "He knew his role, put in countless hours in the gym, and he is such a team player and now his hard work has paid off."

The NJCAA All-American class, presented by eTeamSponsor.com, is composed of 80-percent sophomore student-athletes. He is one of two men's basketball players in NJCAA Region 10 to make an All-American team.
