Wake Tech opened the 2017 season with a dazzling display of soccer at USC Lancaster on Tuesday, August 22.  The box score is full of accolades for the Eagles!  The scoring started in the 28th minute as Jean Olivia (1) netted a strike to give the Eagles a lead they would never relinquish.  Four more goals would follow within the next 49 minutes as Christian Anderson (1), Sergio Romero (1), and Jonah Mulligan (2) would advance the score to 5-0.

Wake Tech was never truly threatened on the defensive side of play as goalkeeper James Hampton made two saves from two shots on goal by the Lancers.
