Men's soccer played a tough match in Allendale, South Carolina over the weekend. The Eagles found themselves in the drivers seat for nearly an hour after a 28th minute goal by Sergio Romero (1). However, the Indians wouldn't go quietly as a late goal in the 86th minute sent the game to overtime. It wasn't until the 109th minute of double overtime when USC Salkehatchie was able to put the game away to claim a 2-1 victory over our Eagles.
The loss sends Wake Tech to 1-1 on the season. The Eagles will play five more games on the road before their anticipated home opener on Tuesday, September 19 versus Spartanburg Methodist.
