The Eagles needed 14 minutes to score enough goals to secure a victory over the Patriots at Ting Park in Holly Springs. That left 76 minutes for Wake Tech to add three more goals, but allow two in a 6-2 win over Patrick Henry Community College.
The win puts Wake Tech at .500 for the season with five games remaining on the schedule before the Eagles enter the post season.
