Wake Tech has been hovering around .500 all season long.  For a team that's had their share of misfortune, they have an opportunity to make a statement against the top team in the conference.  Richard Bland visits Holly Springs for a 2:30pm match that's sure to be a must see at Ting Park.

The Statesmen have deserved their perch atop the conference- a 13-1 overall record, 55 goals scored, 9 goals allowed, and 8 shutouts.  Those are impressive stats!

Richard Bland has been tested on more than one occasion.  One of those scares came at the expense of the Eagles on August 31st.

Both teams were playing a 1-1 draw until Richard Bland midfielder Dusan Stankovic was shown a red card, dropping the Statesmen to 10 men on the field.  Playing a man down from the 56th minute to the final whistle, the Eagles looked to upend Richard Bland.  It wasn't to be, the Statesmen scored two late goals to seal a 3-1 victory.
