MSoc: Eagles Pull Away from USC Sumter

Eagles defeat USC Sumter 3-1.

An early goal could have dashed the Eagles hopes in the opening game of the season, but Wake Tech rallied to score three unanswered goals and defeated USC Sumter by a final score of 3-1.

There were plenty of positives for Wake Tech.  They played as a team, maintained possession, and controlled the middle of the field.  While it will take a few games for the Eagles to gel as a unit, there's reason to believe this squad can make some noise in the conference in 2018.

Sophomore captain Momoyan Kamara was named the player of the game by coach Omar Asad.  Momoyan's two goals turned out to be the ones to tie the game and give the Eagles a 2-1 advantage in the second half.
