The Eagles opened the season with an impressive road win against the University of Mount Olive JV team on Thursday, November 2.

Hot shooting and a stifling defense rendered the Trojans helpless after the first 10 minutes of play.  As the whistle sounded to end the first quarter, Wake Tech held a commanding 24-10 lead.  The Eagles picked up where they left off in the second quarter, charging to a 49-17 halftime score.

As their shooting started to cool off during the second half, Wake Tech continued to thwart any momentum building chances for Mount Olive.  The Eagles held the Trojans to 18 second half points and claimed their first win of the season by a final score of 84-35.
