Wake Tech earned a quality road victory over Johnston Community College on Wednesday, November 8th. The contest featured two undefeated teams and was close throughout.
The Eagles were anchored by five players scoring in double figures. Myrayna Watkins 15, DaShawna Smith 11, Khadijah Daniels 10, Maya Williams 10, and Castar Braswell came off the bench to add 12 points in a 72-66 win for Wake Tech.
Johnston Community College held their own as they ended the night 22-44 from the floor and 6-12 from behind the three point arc. Wake Tech can credit their ability to get to the charity stripe, shooting 42 free throws while converting 24 of them.
