Wake Tech women's basketball boasts a talented and deep lineup, but the learning curve has been tough through the first nine games of the season.

Clearly the three sophomores are the foundation to a successful campaign for the Eagles.  With the first month and a half in the books, Khadijah Daniels, Myrayna Watkins, and DaShawna Smith are doing their part to carry the squad.  The sophomores are also charged with teaching the freshmen how to adjust to the college game.  The addition of freshman forward Timia Grant after the volleyball season provided a much needed spark on offense.

Currently at 3-3 in conference play, Wake Tech is sitting in the middle of the pack at 6th out of 12 teams.  There's plenty of time to make adjustments for a run at the top half in 2018.
