Wake Tech's super sophomores, DaShawna Smith and Khadijah Daniels, scored a total of 56 points on Wednesday, January 24 as the Eagles cruised to a 87-61 win over Fayetteville Tech at the Southern Wake Campus.
Breaking down the scoring: DaShawna Smith led Wake Tech with 29 points, Khadijah Daniels contributed 27 points, Timia Grant added a double-double with 15 points and 18 rebounds, Lakendra Carroll scored 10 points in the win.
Wake Tech will travel to Fayetteville on Wednesday, February 14th to face the Lady Trojans. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:00pm.
