Brunswick Community College was off and running early, putting the Eagles on their heels at home. The Dolphins were up 43-33 at halftime, but Wake Tech was able to chisel away at the deficit in the third quarter.
It wasn't enough as BCC pulled away in the fourth quarter and earned a 71-62 win at the Southern Wake Campus.
The Eagles were led in scoring by Khadijah Daniels with 19 points, DaShawna Smith contributed 18 points, and Timia Grant added 13 points in the loss.
Wake Tech travels to face Brunswick Community College on Saturday, February 24th for a 2:00pm tipoff.
