WBB: 2017-2018 Season Recap

Entering the season, Wake Tech women's basketball had a full roster led by three returning second year stars.  The trio worked so well together on the court and challenged each other in practice to raise their game play that our Sports Information Director dubbed them "Super Sophomores".  What Khadijah DanielsDaShawna Smith, & Myrayna Watkins brought to the 2017-2018 basketball team is a lesson in determination.  Their contributions have set the bar for the program moving forward.

The Eagles finished the regular season 12-17 overall, 8-14 in conference play.  Injuries and attrition throughout the year took their toll on the team, but our super sophomores continued to dig in and keep Wake Tech competitive in just about every contest.  As a team, Wake Tech averaged 62 points per game, 36 rebounds per contest, and 11 assists per game.

Individually, Wake Tech has some phenomenal players that put up some impressive numbers.  Check out our league leaders in Region X, DII...
