Eagles to host Play4Kay Game on Saturday, January 27

RALEIGH, NC — Wake Tech Women's Basketball hosts Louisburg on Saturday, January 27 at the Wake Tech South Campus Gym in a Play4Kay game in partnership with the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. At the game there will be an opportunity to donate to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund

Both programs have close ties to legendary Coach Kay Yow. Wake Tech AD Robin Pate served as a member of Coach Yow's staff at NC State from 1995-2009. Pate also served as the director of Events and Partners and director of Community Development for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. Louisburg head coach Jason Rasnake also spent eight years working with Yow.

Louisburg (12-2, 9-2) is currently third in the NJCAA Region 10 Division II standings, with Wake Tech (11-6, 10-4) right behind them in fourth. Louisburg won the first matchup between the two teams 62-55 back on November 29.

The Eagles will also debut new uniforms on Saturday. For a sneak peak of the new threads, make sure to follow @WakeTechSports and @WakeTechWBB on Instagram.
