RALEIGH, NC - Wake Tech Women's Soccer defeated Louisburg College 3-2 propelling the Eagles to the NJCAA Region 10 DII championship game on Saturday, Oct. 30, at Cape Fear Community College.

Rachel Black scored the opening goal in the 24th minute and Alondra Sujey Barajas-Salazar added the second goal late in the first half giving Wake Tech a 2-0 lead at intermission.

Louisburg netted two quick goals to open the second half with Vanessa Chavez and Alexa Vidal scoring in the 49th and 53rd minute respectively.

The Eagles responded minutes later with Aimy Nunez Molina scoring on an assist from Black to secure the 3-2 win.

The second-seeded Eagles (5-3) will travel to top-seed Cape Fear Community College for the region championship.  The gametime is scheduled for 1pm at CFCC's North Campus located at 4500 Blue Clay Rd. in Castle Hayne, NC.
