Going into the weekend there were several question marks about how Wake Tech would respond to adversity and fatigue.  Both were answered when the Eagles came away with a 5-1 mark after playing six matches in three days.  Here's a breakdown showing how the weekend turned out.

vs Rockingham Community College
25-22, 25-18, 25-14

Friday, September 22

vs USC Lancaster
25-4, 25-10, 25-13

vs Catawba Valley Community College

Saturday, September 23

vs Richard Bland
25-17, 25-14, 25-18

vs Bryant & Stratton

At the conclusion of play, Wake Tech is now fourth in the conference with a 10-5 overall record and 4-2 in conference play.  Ahead of the Eagles are Cape Fear, Catawba Valley, and Louisburg.  The Eagles host Lenoir Community College on Wednesday, September 27 at 5:00pm in a match that could solidify our hold on the number four spot if Wake Tech is able to come away with a victory.
