The Eagles are on a roll!  Volleyball has won seven consecutive matches and 11 of their last 12.  This good fortune has allowed Wake Tech to climb higher in the conference standings, the Eagles are now in third position- trailing Cape Fear and Catawba Valley.

Wake Tech's winning streak will be tested this week with a road game scheduled for Wednesday, October 4 at Pitt Community College.  On September 9th, the Eagles edged the Bulldogs by a final score of 3-2.  It doesn't get any easier on Thursday as Wake Tech hosts Johnson & Wales at the Southern Wake Campus (Main Campus) gym at 6pm for their only home match this week.  Wake Tech defeated Johnson & Wales on September 30th by a score of 3-2, but that was after a 34-32 fourth set.
