Wake Tech traveled to Bolivia, NC on Saturday to square off with Cape Fear Community College.  The Sea Devils are in the midst of another outstanding season and brought a perfect 9-0 conference record to the match.

The Eagles stood their ground and battled it out with the Sea Devils, earning a 3-2 victory.  The five set affair was the fourth time this year Wake Tech was challenged to a fifth and final set.  Wake Tech is now a perfect 4-0 in five set matches this season.  The final score was a heart pounding 14-25, 25-18, 16-25, 25-17, 15-12.

With the win, Wake Tech improves to 21-7 overall and a 10-3 conference mark.  If the season ended today, the Eagles would be third in the conference.  However, there are three games remaining in the regular season.  Two of those matches are against conference foes- Surry Community College and Catawba Valley.
