Women's volleyball continues their march towards the postseason with a 3:00pm match on Friday, October 20th against the Surry Knights. The afternoon contest versus Surry is game one of two for Wake Tech to wrap up the week. A 6:00pm match against Richard Bland is the second contest of the night for the Eagles.
Currently, Wake Tech is in a tight race to hold on to the third spot in the conference. Any losses from this point forward could drop them to the fourth or fifth position prior to tournament seeding.
One thing is certain, the well-coached Knights always bring their best when they play Wake Tech. These two sides met up on September 21st and the Eagles claimed victory by a final score of 3-1.
The month of October has been kind to the Eagles. Sitting on a six game winning streak, a win over the Knights would tie the longest winning streak of the season for Wake Tech.
