The final of Friday's tri-match contests features Wake Tech and Richard Bland.

It has been a memorable season for the Statesmen- a new volleyball program, a new coach, new players.  Everything is a first, historic, a foundation for the future.  For the Eagles, staying focused will be key.  Nothing could jump-start the fledgling program's confidence more than a Statesmen victory in Raleigh.

The two teams battled for the first time ever on Saturday, September 23rd in Hickory, NC.  Wake Tech came away with a 3-0 win, but Richard Bland proved they are going to fit right in with the rest of the conference and challenge some teams in the near future.
