Wake Tech welcomes the 15th ranked team from the NJCAA DII fold, and conference rival, Catawba Valley for a 4:00pm match on Friday, October 27th.
The Red Hawks are well known for their nationally ranked volleyball program and are poised to claim the number one seed in the upcoming Region X Tournament. A drive to the number one spot for CVCC can be seriously challenged if David can defeat Goliath this afternoon in Raleigh.
For Catawba Valley, they're in the midst of a five match winning streak. Not to mention they haven't lost to a conference opponent all season long.
The Eagles were defeated by the Red Hawks on the road earlier this season by a humbling score of 3-0.
