The regular season came to an end on Friday, October 27th with a 3-0 loss to nationally ranked Catawba Valley Community College.  Despite the loss, Wake Tech finished with an overall record of 22-9.

By finishing 10-5 in conference, the Eagles claimed the #3 seed in the upcoming Region X / District P Tournament.

Tournament play for Wake Tech's next opponent begins Friday at 11:00am when Pitt Community College faces Walters State.

The winner of that match will advance to play the Eagles at 7:00pm for a spot in the semifinals.

Whether Wake Tech plays Pitt or Walters State in the quarterfinals, the upcoming contest will not be easy.  The Eagles split the season series with Pitt Community College- a 3-2 win on September 9th and a 3-1 loss on October 4th.  The only meeting against Walters State resulted in a 3-1 loss on September 9th.
