Postseason Preview: Eagles in Region X Tournament

Postseason Preview: Eagles in Region X Tournament

Wake Tech volleyball has been on an amazing ride for the last two and a half months.  This years team was built from scratch, only returning two players from last season.  From the outside looking in, it would be easy to dismiss the team as too inexperienced or too small in size.  However, the one thing this team brings every night is something you can't measure- heart.

They'll need a lot of heart to climb the mountain that's in front of them this weekend as they travel to Brunswick Community College to play in the Region X / District P Tournament.  Although they are ranked as the #3 seed in the tournament, they're facing an uphill battle from the minute they take the floor.

Pitt Community College vs Walters State at 11:00am

The Eagles will play the winner of this match on Friday, November 3rd at 7:00pm.

If Pitt Community College wins: The Eagles split the season series with Pitt Community College- a 3-2 win on September 9th and a 3-1 loss on October 4th.

If Walters State wins: The only meeting against Walters State resulted in a 3-1 loss on September 9th.

UPDATE: Walters State defeated Pitt Community College, 3-0.

Wake Tech will face Walters State at 7:00pm on Friday, November 3rd at Brunswick Community College.
