17 student-athletes named to NJCAA All-Academic Teams

The National Junior College Athletic Association named their All-Academic teams for the 2024-25 year yesterday afternoon. 17 Wake Tech student-athletes were recognized, four received first team honors. To be eligible, student-athletes must maintain full-time status throughout the school year and earn at least a 3.60 GPA. First team honors are reserved for student-athletes who maintain a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Abby Carver receives All-Academic honors for the second time, being named to the first team this year after being named to the third team last year.

"Our student-athletes recognized on these teams should be incredibly proud of their accomplishments this school year," Athletic Director Robin Pate said. "They have represented Wake Tech, their programs, their coaches, and themselves well at a national scale. We take a lot of pride in academic success, and I only hope to see our number of honorees grow in the coming years."
