Beach Volleyball Tryouts on July 14

RALEIGH, NC – Do you have interest in competing in collegiate Beach Volleyball?  Wake Tech is looking for prospective Eagles for the 2023-24 academic year.

The Eagles are hosting an open tryout for prospective student-athletes on Friday, July 14, at the Scott Northern Wake Tech Campus Beach Volleyball Courts.  The beach volleyball courts are located adjacent to the tennis courts near the campus entrance at the intersection of Louisburg Rd. and Fox Rd.

Participating students must provide the following:

  • Copy of a current sports physical (CLICK HERE) dated within the last 12 months
  • Bring own water bottle
  • Signed liability form (CLICK HERE)

Prospective student-athletes should have some playing experience in beach volleyball at the high school or club level or have court volleyball knowledge or playing experience. Beach Volleyball is a spring sport with practice starting in late January through April and a competitive intercollegiate schedule.  Wake Tech will also have fall season workouts and practice.

Wake Tech Beach Volleyball is a varsity level program.  Student-athletes must be enrolled full time at Wake Tech (12 or more hours) during the traditional season in the Spring (January-May).  In addition, student athletes must meet National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) eligibility requirements (CLICK HERE).
