Wake Tech Shut Out by USC-Lancaster

The Eagles fell 10-0 to USC-Lancaster at Florence-Darlington CC on Sunday.
 
Thomas Durant got it done on the mound on the way to a win. He pitched five shutout innings. Durant struck out seven, walked three and gave up three hits.

USC-Lancaster was sparked by Walt Ballentine and Jonathan Saiso, who teamed up for four hits and three RBIs.

 couldn't get it done on the hill for the Eagles, taking a loss. He allowed nine runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out two.

USC-Lancaster never surrendered the lead after the third inning, scoring two runs on an RBI double by Ballentine and an RBI single by Evan Edwards.

USC-Lancaster added seven more runs in the bottom of the fourth. A passed ball scored Samuel Blalock to start the scoring in the inning. That was followed up by Ballentine's single, scoring Fenway Parks and Ryan Knowels.
