Eagles Outhit Florence-Darlington in 4-3 Defeat

The Eagles lost 4-3 in seven innings at Florence-Darlington CC on Sunday, despite outhitting Florence-Darlington CC 5-4.
 
Ethan Helsman had two extra-base hits for the Eagles. He doubled in the third and fourth innings and singled in the seventh inning.

Austin Warren
 looked sharp on the mound. Florence-Darlington CC managed just two hits off of Warren, who allowed one earned run, walked five and struck out six during his 5 1/3 innings of work.

Amlicar Yanez
 was charged with the loss. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.

The bottom of the first saw Florence-Darlington CC take an early lead, 1-0.
