Matt Mauldin's Big Day Not Enough, Eagles Lose 13-2

Despite Matt Mauldin's 2-3 performance at the plate on Sunday, the Eagles took a 13-2 loss at the hands of Cuyahoga CC at North Main Athletic Complex.

Cuyahoga CC easily handled the Eagles pitching as six hitters combined for 15 hits, 12 RBIs and 11 runs scored.

Two runs in the bottom of the third helped the Eagles close their deficit to 3-2. An error and an RBI single by Angel Santiago sparked the Eagles' rally.Travis Owens flew out to end the Eagles threat.
Cuyahoga CC got five-run rallies in the fourth inning and the seventh. In the fourth, Cuyahoga CC scored on a solo home run by Deutsch.
