Eagles Narrowly Escape Chesapeake, 3-1

The Eagles and Chesapeake CC both threatened with rallies, but it was the Eagles that eventually took advantage of them in a 3-1 win at North Main Athletic Complex.

Chesapeake CC out-hit Eagles four to three, but Chesapeake CC stranded eight runners on base.
 
Keegan Woolford racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Eagles. He homered in the third inning.
 
Austin Deal racked up six strikeouts in the the Eagles win. Austin Deal allowed no earned runs, four hits and three walks over five innings.
 
Williams was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed three runs.

Chesapeake CC managed to score one run in the first inning on an RBI double by Williams.
The game's last lead went to the Eagles thanks to a third inning rally that saw two runs cross the plate on a two-run home run by Woolford.
