Surry CC falls 11-3 at the hands of the Eagles

Angel Santiago racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Eagles. He tripled in the fourth inning and singled in the third and sixth innings.
 
Justin Huggins recorded the win for the Eagles. He allowed three runs over 6 2/3 innings. Huggins struck out four, walked none and gave up seven hits.
Bowman was charged with the loss. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed four runs.

The Eagles scored one run in the third inning, and then followed it up with one more in the fifth. In the third, the Eagles scored on a fielder's choice, scoring Matt Mauldin.
The game was never in doubt after the fourth, as the Eagles scored five runs on a two-run error and a three-run triple by Santiago.

After posting two runs in the sixth, the Eagles again scored two in the seventh. In the sixth, the Eagles scored on a two-run double by Austin Warren, bringing home Keegan Woolford and Santiago.

A single by Woolford ignited the offense,, scoring Caleb Coyle and Mauldin. That was followed up by Woolford's single, plating Coyle and Mauldin.
