Seventh-inning lead change vaults Surry past the Eagles, 6-4

Matt Mauldin racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Eagles. He tripled in the fifth inning.
 
Lambert recorded the win for Surry CC. He allowed four runs over seven innings. He struck out five, walked two and surrendered three hits.

Surry CC's Buchanan, Davis and Syndek combined for six hits and five RBIs.

Austin Deal took the loss for the Eagles. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
The top of the second saw Surry CC take an early lead, 1-0. A solo home run by Davis started the inning off.

Surry CC pushed across one run in both the third inning and the sixth. In the third, Surry CC scored on a sacrifice fly by Buchanan, bringing home Syndek.
The lead stayed with Surry CC after the seventh, when it scored three runs on a three-run home run by Buchanan.
