The Eagles hit three home runs in the win. Home runs for the Wake Tech came when Keegan Woolford homered in the third inning, Austin Fischer homered in the fifth inning, and Matt Mauldin homered in the sixth inning.
Woolford racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Eagles. He homered in the third inning.
Austin Warren recorded the win for the Eagles. He tossed five innings of shutout ball. He struck out eight, walked four and surrendered one hit.
The Eagles never trailed after scoring one run in the second on a sacrifice fly by Evan Maley.
Wake Tech increased their lead with four runs in the fifth. The inning looked promising, as Angel Santiago doubled, scoring Mauldin and Woolford to kick things off. That was followed up by Austin Fischer's two-run home run, scoring Santiago.
