Wake Tech scored three runs in the second on the Eagles scored in the second on a two-run double by Matt Mauldin and an RBI single by Garrett Wise.
Mauldin racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Eagles.
Austin Warren got the win for the Eagles thanks to seven strikeouts. Austin Warren allowed one earned run on four hits and one walk over five innings.
Reeves was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked three and struck out five.
The Eagles brought home one run in the third inning, and matched that run total in the sixth. In the third, the Eagles scored on a sacrifice fly by James Creel, plating Travis Owens.
Wake Tech added two more runs in the bottom of the fifth. JT Austin kicked things off with a triple, scoring Creel.
