Owens racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Eagles.
Austin Warren got the win for the Eagles. He allowed one run over seven innings. He struck out eight, walked one and surrendered three hits.
Biggerstaff couldn't get it done on the mound for Catawba Valley, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in three innings, walked two and struck out five.
The Eagles built upon their lead with two runs in the sixth. A passed ball scored Evan Maley to start the scoring in the inning.
