Austin Warren struck out 11, paving the way for a the Eagles win. Warren allowed one earned run on four hits and five walks over eight innings.
Maynard took the loss for Patrick Henry. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked four, struck out seven, and allowed five runs.
The Eagles jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the second. Austin Fischer got things going for the Eagles with a single. A single by James Creel then moved Austin Fischer from first to third. Caleb Coyle singled, plating Austin Fischer.
Patrick Henry's lone run of the ballgame came in the second inning on an RBI single by Stewart.
Wake Tech didn't relinquish the lead after scoring two runs in the third inning when they scored on an error.
The Eagles added two more runs in the top of the sixth. That was followed up by Garrett Wise's single, bringing home Creel.
