The 2016 baseball season ended in dramatic fashion as Patrick Henry Community College rallied from an 8-1 deficit in the final four innings to defeat Wake Tech on a walk-off homerun in the bottom of the ninth inning.  The walk-off blast propelled Patrick Henry into the Region X Championship game while ending a deep run in the tournament for the Eagles.

Although the season is over for Wake Tech, the Eagles gained a lot of attention during the Region X tournament and garnered enough votes to sit on the outside of the Top 20.  Here's a look at the latest NJCAA Division II, Top 20 Poll for May 18, 2016.  Wake Tech finishes the season with a 30-21 record, with five players receiving individual honors for their outstanding play in Region X.
