Wake Tech took the field for their first true road game of the season against Louisburg College on Wednesday, February 14, 2018.

The Hurricanes struck first taking a 1-0 lead into the second inning, but the Eagles countered with three unanswered runs and led 3-1 midway through the third inning.  The game remained close, 3-2, until the top of the fifth when Wake Tech would score six additional runs to open up a 9-2 lead.  Wake Tech and Louisburg would go on to score three more runs apiece as the Eagles closed out the contest winning 12-5.

John Creel started for the Eagles and pitched for one inning.  He allowed three hits, one run, and striking out two.  Hunter Dickerson would go on to claim the win after one inning of work, allowing only one hit.

Martin Muzik was 3 for 5 with a triple and two RBI's.  David Grimm went 1 for 4, but picked up 2 RBI's on the night.

The road trip continues for Wake Tech, they'll face USC Salkehatchie for a double header on Sunday, February 18th.
