BSB: Eagles Welcome Robert Dudley

Head Coach Eric Sibrizzi announced today that Robert Dudley will join the Wake Tech Baseball program as Hitting Coach and Recruiting Coordinator.  Coach Dudley brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the staff.  

"We are excited to welcome Coach Dudley to our coaching staff as a Hitting Coach/Recruiting Coordinator," said Sibrizzi, "He has a wealth of knowledge on the hitting aspect of the game as well as great ties to our community to help with recruiting.  His passion for the game and love for his players is evident, and we are thrilled to have him bring that to our program here at Wake Tech."

Background & Experience

Coach Dudley enters his first season with the Wake Tech baseball program. Prior to joining the Eagles, Dudley was an Assistant Coach and the hitting coach at Heritage High in Wake Forest, NC for three years. During his time there, the Huskies finished at or near the top of the conference in several offensive categories. In addition to Heritage High, Dudley was also the Head Coach of the North Wake Fungo of the Carolina-Virginia Collegiate League for 2 summers. The Fungo won the batting title in his first year and led the league in home runs the next year.

In addition to coaching, Dudley has worked as an instructor and coach for FBI Baseball and North Carolina Amateur Baseball Club (NCABC) since 2015. There he has led group training sessions, hitting clinics, individual and group lessons, and camps as well as free coaching clinics. He also serves as the Head Coach for the North Wake Fungo Post 187 Legion team which is housed as NCABC.
